About Laura Yeap (Partner)
Laura has well-rounded knowledge and experience in commercial, civil and criminal litigation, business and commercial matters, company, employment and intellectual property, comfortable tackling legal enquiries across multiple areas of law. She also has extensive experience in dealing with complex cases involving administrative reviews, bails, human rights cases and judicial reviews.
Her clients include businesses, entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals and even politically exposed persons.
Apart from private legal work, Laura has strong moral sentiments about helping the less fortunate and giving back to the society. She has worked with vulnerable Chinese in the UK and was employed as a legal adviser by the Chinese Information and Advice Centre. She has also participated in pro-bono clinics held by the Chinese Community Centre in London.
Laura holds both a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in International and European Business Law from the University of Leeds. She received accreditation as a Level 3 immigration specialist in 2008 from the Office and Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) and admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2011.
